Jr & Sr. High School Classes

READING

Make sure you are reading every night for at least 15 minutes.
-Fill out your Reading Log daily. (This will be collected every Monday morning!!)
-Write in your Reading Journal at least 3-4 times per week. (This will be collected twice a Marking Period.)

3rd Marking Period Changes:

For the 3rd M.P. we are working on two things:

Historical Fiction Literature Circles
-and-
An Independent Survivor Series

What Does This Mean? They will be reading two books at once and You should see your child doing much more written homework for reading. The literature circle requires them to complete a job in their LC packets prior to each meeting (1 or 2 a week - every 4 calandar days we meet)

For the Independent Survivor Series they have 15 questions they need to answer in their "Survivor Notebook" at their own pace by end of February!

Reading Logs are still collected every Monday!
